Grenada: The Caribbean Island of Spice

It is 20 years since I first filmed in Grenada and if you love the Island of Spice you might spot a few features that have been lost in the mists of time. Although hurricanes have taken their toll, there are still fine examples of the 17th century French and English architecture in the town of St. Georges which developed around the fort and is evidence of the struggle for power in the Caribbean. In this introduction to the island we visit Grand Etang Forest Reserve, Annandale Falls, spice plantations, the local market and explore the harbour, the town, the fort, the beaches, and, of course, sample the food.
