USA: Massachusetts – In the footsteps of John F. Kennedy


We take a trip back to the 60s to Boston and Cape Cod to explore the villages, beaches, and family homes that inspired John F Kennedy. While following in his footsteps we stay at intimate hotels, visit several of the 15 unique towns that make up Cape Cod, discover arts and crafts shops, fishing harbours and visit the National Seashore, a park and wildlife sanctuary created by Kennedy to protect the coastal eco-systems. Stops include: the Kennedy Compound at Hyannis Port; JFK Library and Museum in Boston with its very comprehensive exhibit on his life; dinner in his booth at the Union Oyster House; and Omni Parker House, where he announced his intention to run for the Senate and where he proposed to Jackie. South Africa: Sun City’s Lost City Golf Course


A Golf Pro shows us how to hit the greens at the Lost City Golf Course in South Africa. Designed by Gary Player, the course is located in an extinct volcanic crater and offers more than most people would bargain for including stunning views that frequently take your eye off the ball. But watch out! There are crocodiles on the 13th hole, zebras and giraffe encroaching from the nearby game reserve on the 15th. Florida: In Search of Hidden Treasures


We search for Florida’s inland treasures following the ancient reefs to Ginnie Springs where hot water bubbles to the surface and divers can explore underwater caves. In Alachua County, we discover Author, Marjorie Rawlings house and explore the rivers and wilderness on her doorstep. At Steinhatchee Landing in North Central Florida, where the river flows down to the sea, we find a recreation of a Cracker Village with a petting zoo and a paddock that provides fun for every member of the family. Finland: Naantali – A Baltic Spa Town


Before Naantali became a popular 18th century spa town it was an important pilgrimage destination founded around a medieval Brigittine convent, the church of which still dominates the skyline. Today you can explore the town and visit the gardens of the President’s cottage, sail around the Finnish archipelago, or stay in a luxury suite on board a cruise ship that goes nowhere but devotes its services to spa treatments and healthy rejuvenation. Australia: The Great Barrier Reef


Night dives, day trips, live-aboard dive boats, snorkeling, and scuba – the options are endless as we zip out to the Great Barrier Reef to explore one of the most diverse eco-systems in the world. Amongst the species of coral and tropical fish we encounter a giant clam, a green sea turtle, a clown fish, and a dancing flat worm.
